Catalina

Catalina is a Cape Cod condo in Redondo Beach that came to us ready for a full reset. We reworked the entire home around a clean, modern coastal feel, leaning into the natural light the unit already had and layering in finishes that read warm, relaxed, and architectural. New flooring throughout, designer and recessed lighting, and fresh paint brightened every room, while a brand-new HVAC system brought the comfort level up to match the look. In the kitchen, we installed custom cabinetry, new appliances, and a handmade zellige tile backsplash that brings in laid-back coastal texture without making the space feel overdesigned. A dedicated coffee bar gives the kitchen a more custom, everyday-luxury feel. The bathrooms were completely updated with a spa-like, organic design direction. In the powder room, we went all in: the space is wrapped in a rich green and finished with handmade zellige tile that gives the room depth, movement, and a perfectly imperfect character. Because each tile is handmade, the surface carries natural variation, the kind of slight irregularity that makes the room feel authentic and organic instead of flat and manufactured. We also rebuilt the balcony, which had areas of rot that needed proper attention before the home could feel truly complete. With all bedrooms upstairs, direct access to a two-car garage, in-unit laundry, and a multi-level layout, the finished product is exactly what this kind of South Bay home should be: easy, clean, comfortable, and turnkey.
